Unlocking characters involves combining related items in EverMerge Lite. To view the required items:

1. Navigate to the Discoveries tab located on the right-hand side.
2. The initial tab displayed should be the character tab.
3. Please tap on the portrait of a character to reveal the items required for their rescue.
4. If you still need to acquire the necessary items, the tab will prompt you to continue playing until you gather them and unlock new characters.
