Objective

The main aim in Mancala is to collect seeds, then your opponents’ by the end of gameplay. 

In this game, players take turns placing seeds on the board with the aim of moving seeds as possible to their store while also capturing seeds from their opponents side.

Starting the Game

‍One player begins by choosing any of the six pits on their side of the board and collecting all the seeds from that pit.

Planting Seeds

‍Moving counterclockwise, the player distributes one seed at a time into each pit, including their store, skipping over their opponents' stores. If the last seed lands in their store, they get another turn to gather seeds and gain an advantage.

Capturing Seeds

‍If a player's final seed lands in a pit on their side with no seeds, it marks the end of that turn.

Ending The Game

‍The game continues until one player's six pits are all empty. Once this occurs, the game immediately comes to an end. The seeds left in the opponent's pits are then transferred to their store. When the game concludes the player with the most seeds in their store is declared the winner.
