Team Badges are a brand-new feature in EA SPORTS FC Mobile 26 (re: the latest September 2025 update) that adds a strategic layer to building your squad. Badges give extra attribute boosts and even raise your team’s overall OVR when equipped. You level up badges by collecting specific player items and completing badge “groups” of players.
This guide walks through everything you need to know; what Team Badges do, how to earn and equip them, details on Kick Off and 2nd Anniversary badges, how to get season rewards, and tips to power-level your badges for maximum boosts.
How Team Badges Work
Team Badges are stat-boosting medals you earn and equip on your squads. Each Badge has levels; higher levels give bigger stat boosts. You raise a Badge’s level by feeding it eligible Player Items (called “Badge EXP”) or by buying special packs. Completing each Badge also has Groups (mini-collections of 3 players) that give extra boosts only to those group players, plus extra rewards.
In essence, badges boost player attributes and team OVR for a limited time based on your badge level and the groups you complete. The game’s Badge screen (accessible by tapping “Badges” on your home screen) displays each Badge and its associated perks.
Getting and Levelling Badges
To use Team Badges, you first “collect” a badge by gathering its required players. In the new Badges menu, pick a Badge team (Kick Off or 2nd Anniversary right now), then tap Players to see which items count as EXP. Only the listed players will feed EXP for that Badge.
Generally, higher-OVR players give more EXP. Once you have some eligible players, you can activate/equip the Badge (more below), and the Badge will start levelling as you gather EXP.
To see the eligible players for a badge:
- Open the Badges section from the home screen.
- Select the Badge team (e.g. Kick Off).
- Tap the Players tab to view which players can be used as EXP for that badge.
Usually, duplicates don’t give extra EXP. Also, note that using tradable players as EXP will convert them to untradable permanently (so only do this if you don’t mind losing their tradable status). Untradable players are free to feed. Each player’s EXP value is fixed and not shown explicitly in-game, but you need a set total to reach each level (see next section). The moment you reach the needed EXP, the badge auto-levels up.
Kick Off and 2nd Anniversary Badges
FC Mobile 26 launched with two special Team Badges: Kick Off and 2nd Anniversary. Each has three levels with increasing stat boosts.
- Kick Off Badge (runs Sept ’25 – Jan ’26): This badge focuses on boosting Shooting-related skills (Reactions, Volley, Finishing). It has 3 levels:
- Level 1 – requires 1 EXP; boosts Reaction+1, Volley+1, Finishing+1 (per player in your lineup).
- Level 2 – requires 3 EXP; boosts Reaction+2, Volley+2, Finishing+2.
- Level 3 – requires 8 EXP; boosts Reaction+3, Volley+3, Finishing+3.
- Level 1 – requires 1 EXP; boosts Reaction+1, Volley+1, Finishing+1 (per player in your lineup).
- You earn Kick Off Badge EXP by collecting the required Kick Off player items (shown in that badge’s Players tab). Alternatively, you can buy Kick Off Packs (200 Gems each from Store → Exchanges → Kick Off). Each pack gives 1 EXP. Without any free EXP players, you’d need to buy about 12 packs (costing 2400 Gems) to reach Level 3. (Remember, any players you feed remain in your club; they’re just marked as used for EXP.)
- 2nd Anniversary Badge (runs from Sep ’25 ): This badge offers larger boosts in Shooting and adds Team OVR. Its three levels are more demanding:
- Level 1 – requires 50 EXP; boosts Long Shot+5, Curve+5, Marking+5.
- Level 2 – requires 450 EXP; boosts Long Shot+10, Curve+10, Marking+10, Agility+10.
- Level 3 – requires 2000 EXP; boosts **Long Shot+15, Curve+15, Marking+15, Agility+15, Shot Power+15, and Team OVR +1 (for that lineup).
- Level 1 – requires 50 EXP; boosts Long Shot+5, Curve+5, Marking+5.
- The Anniversary badge EXP is earned by collecting 2nd Anniversary player items (obtained from packs or events). Every time you obtain an Anniversary player (especially untradable ones), you earn EXP toward this Badge. You’ll likely unlock Level 1 quickly during the Anniversary events, but reaching higher levels takes collecting many players or using packs. The game will auto-level the badge when you hit each EXP threshold. Keep in mind that feeding this badge to a tradable player will make it untradable (the game warns you before you do so).
Groups and Bonuses
Each Badge also has Groups: sets of 3 specific players that grant extra boosts and rewards when you complete them. A Group’s stat boosts apply only to the players in that group, not your whole team. For instance, the 2nd Anniversary Badge features groups such as “Silent Command” or “Trifecta of Motion” (each listing three star players). If you collect all three players for a group, that group unlocks an extra boost (e.g. +10 Finishing for each of those three players). Completing any group also grants bonus rewards like Gems or Rank Up points.
To complete groups, use the Badge Groups tab. Once you have a group’s players (the same ones used for Badge EXP), tapping Complete will apply the group boost and drop extra rewards. You can do this for all available groups, so plan which players you might want to chase.
Equipping Badges in Your Lineups
After you earn a badge (at least Level 1), you equip it on a lineup to activate its boosts. Each lineup (team slot) can equip up to 3 Badges. You can equip different badges on each lineup, or even the same badge across multiple lineups.
To equip: go to Club → My Team, pick a lineup, and tap the Badges button (near the bottom or side). Select the badge you want and press Equip. The badge’s level and completed groups will immediately boost all players in that lineup. The UI will show you the attribute increases on each player. You can unequip or switch badges at any time to suit your tactics.
Example: You might equip the Kick Off Badge on an all-Attack lineup to boost their Shooting stats, and equip the 2nd Anniversary Badge on a more balanced squad to also raise overall OVR. Since you can have 3 badges per lineup, mix and match based on who needs the boosts.
Seasonal Rewards and EXP
Each game “season” of FC Mobile has its own Team Badge rewards. There are 20 season levels, and completing each level grants 5,000 Gems. You earn season badge EXP by acquiring eligible player items from that season. For example, any player who counts for the current season’s badge (Kick Off or Anniversary) gives EXP toward that season’s progress. The in-game Badge panel displays the amount of EXP required for each level and the corresponding rewards.
Collect as many eligible player items as you can to climb these levels. (Even if you don’t use them in your lineup, simply having or activating them fills the EXP bar.) In practice, every time you get a new Kick Off or Anniversary player, your season badge EXP increases. Fill up all 20 levels each season to rack up 100,000 Gems in total.
Tips to Level Up Fast
- Feed untradable players and packs. Use untradable players as EXP first. They are easy to obtain in promos and cost no trade value. You keep them in your club after feeding. If you have tradable versions of needed players, you can “activate” them (making them untradable) and then feed, but only do this if you don’t plan to sell them.
- Open gem packs for badge EXP. Many FC Mobile packs (like the 3K Daily Gems Pack) give untradable players automatically. Buying a gem pack may seem indirect, but it can score you multiple untradable players at once. That means bonus Badge EXP instead of cash. It’s often faster to buy those packs than to chase players individually.
- Balance your wallet and gems. If you’re short on Gems or FC Points to buy packs, consider a top-up. The Carry1st Shop makes it easy to get more Gems or FC Points (especially for players in Nigeria). More Gems means more Kick Off packs or Anniversary packs for Badge EXP. Just be mindful to spend wisely on packs that give the most badge progress.
- Don’t waste too much on lower levels. You only need exactly the players listed for each Badge. For Kick Off, once you hit Level 3 (max), any extra Kick Off players no longer count. So stop opening Kick Off packs after 12. Likewise, avoid opening Anniversary packs after Level 3. Instead, save Gems or FC Points for other events.
- Use multiple lineups. Because badges are not consumed, you can equip them on several lineups. If you have a max-level Kick Off badge, equip it on a second lineup too. This way, one badge boosts two squads.
In A Nutshell
The new Team Badge system is a powerful way to boost your FC Mobile squad. By levelling badges with the right players and packs, and by finishing groups, you can add hefty stats and even raise your team’s OVR. Make sure to claim all the season badge rewards (free Gems!) and mix badges into your lineups for the best effect.
With smart planning – like feeding untradable players and using gem packs from the Carry1st Shop – you’ll speed up your badge progress and see a serious team improvement. Give it a try: equip those badges, stack those boosts, and watch your team reach new heights!
