Imagine dropping into a Blood Strike match and finding a sniper rifle that can punch through almost anything.
Well, we can all put our imaginations to bed because Blood Strike’s latest Season 13 update is making it a reality! From a beastly new M82 sniper rifle to a high-stakes “Road to Mythic” competition (with real prizes on the line), there’s a ton for Strikers to sink their teeth into.
As far as updates go, the mother of all is here with new guns, new game modes, events, and even a revamped rank system. Let’s dive into everything new in this Mythic Patch and see how you can get an edge (and maybe even win a smartphone) along the way.
New M82 Sniper Rifle Packs A Punch
Let’s start with the headliner: the M82 anti-materiel sniper rifle. This monster fires .50 BMG rounds that hit like a truck. The official patch notes even tease “if one shot doesn’t take down your enemy, just fire another”; in other words, the M82 brings serious stopping power.
It also comes with a twist: a new BAS attachment called the “High Precision Laser” that basically lets you use this sniper in close quarters, unleashing devastating power in tight spaces. So whether you’re picking off opponents at range or hip-firing up close, the M82 has you covered. It feels like we’ve been waiting for a .50 cal for too long in this game, and it sounds like the M82 finally fulfills that wish.
Pro-Player Tip: You can unlock this monster by leveling up the new Strike Pass. For the best deals on Strike Pass and Golds, check out the Carry1st Shop.)
Elite Airdrop Shakes Up Battle Royale
For those who love chaos, the new Elite Airdrop in Battle Royale mode is a game-changer. These aren’t your ordinary supply drops; instead they’re loaded with heavy firepower like grenade launchers, M16s, Gatling cannons, even flamethrowers.
If you manage to grab an Elite Airdrop, you instantly become a one-person arsenal. But be warned: everyone on the map will know it, and you’ll have a giant target on your back. It’s high risk, high reward, but it’s up to you to determine if it’s all worth it to become a part of the ‘hunted’. It might go either way, and I can’t wait to see the highlight reels from these moments. This mechanic should add some crazy late-game showdowns; just imagine squads fighting over a flamethrower drop in the final circle!
Hero Tweaks and New Rank Tiers
New toys are a great addition, but Season 13 is also bringing balance changes and a ranking overhaul. KAINDA mains have some buffs to celebrate. Her Phasing Arrow skill’s horizontal range was increased from 8m to 10m, and its cooldown got cut from 60s to 45s.
Likewise, KAINDA’s Scouting Arrow now covers a 12m radius (up from 10m) and recharges in 35s instead of 45s. These tweaks should make KAINDA more impactful on the field (which I’m all for: nothing beats a well-timed arrow reveal).
Now for the ranked tier system. If you thought Legend was the pinnacle, think again. Season 13 introduces a brand-new tier above Legend called Peak Legend, which comes with exclusive emote rewards for the strongest players. Additionally, the Legend tier itself is now subdivided into four sub-ranks (Legend 4, 3, 2, 1) to make the climb more granular.
There’s an even higher target now: the elusive Mythic rank. This appears to be the endgame for rank grinders; the name of the Season 13 update is literally “Road to Mythic,” and hitting Mythic rank is the ultimate goal tied to special events. We’ll talk about that event in a bit, but the takeaway is that competitive players have more tiers to climb and new glory to chase this season.
Free Loot: Stamp Collection and Lucky Drops
Who doesn’t love free loot? Blood Strike is running a Stamp Collection event throughout September, where you complete weekly missions to earn stamps, then redeem them for goodies. It works kind of like bingo: use stamps to fill rows or columns on a card to claim rewards like Noble Coins, Gold Bar Stash vouchers, and more. Fill out the entire stamp card, and you’ll unlock the Ultra-quality “Blast Striker” skin for free. It’s a nice way to get a high-tier character skin just by playing regularly.
There’s also a Lucky Airdrop mini-event on select days where simply logging in during certain hours can net you a huge bonus. During the event times (e.g., Sept 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, each day from 18:00 to 20:00), if you’re online, you’ll receive a Lucky Airdrop reward. Prizes go all the way up to 10,000 Noble Coins at once for the luckiest players.
Yes, you read that right; ten thousand Noble Coins, just for logging in at the right time. Even if you don’t hit that jackpot, the airdrops can contain Gold Bar vouchers and other valuable items. Mark your calendar so you don’t miss those evenings; a couple of minutes online could make you ridiculously rich in-game.
Tournaments Arrive for Competitive Squads
Big news for the competitive scene: an in-game Tournament system is now live. This lets squads of four compete in organized tournaments entirely within the Blood Strike client, a huge step toward an esports vibe. Here’s how it works: all players can access the tournament list via the Team menu and see upcoming events to register for.
You’ll need to form a team of 4 and sign up; once you apply, you wait for the event organizer to approve your team’s entry. After registrations close, everything is automated. When the tournament starts, the game will automatically create a tournament room for the match, so you must have your team ready and join on time, because the matches will begin whether you’re there or not.
What’s cool is the system will track the results, calculate rankings, and even highlight “star players” based on the total points earned in the tournament. You’ll earn League Tokens for participating, which can be exchanged for surprise rewards in the future. (I’m really curious what those will be. Exclusive skins, maybe?)
Essentially, Blood Strike is building its own in-game esports platform. For now, only selected players or organizers can create tournament events, so the average player can’t host just yet. But anyone can join a tournament, so I expect we’ll see a bunch of community-hosted competitions popping up. As someone who loves watching competitive play, this feature gets a big thumbs up from me. Time to rally your squad and prove who’s best!
Rust Fall Strike Pass and Flashy New Skins
A new season means a new battle pass, and “Rust Fall” Strike Pass is set to release on September 15. If you grind through the free track of the pass, you’ll actually unlock the new M82 weapon for free, along with the M82’s High Precision Laser attachment and a themed “Street Art Camo” loot box.
That’s a pretty great deal for free players. Of course, the paid Elite Pass offers even juicier loot. Elite Pass holders can snag exclusive items like the Ultra-tier Kainda “Fallout Gear” skin, the Fallux weapon skins for M82 and Origin-12 shotgun, a funky new “Stick Step” lead emote, and even 520 Gold Bars straight out the gate. There are also epic “Depleted Uranium” skins for JET and LUCIAN characters in there, among other rewards.
If you go for the Premium Pass (the highest tier), you instantly unlock an Ultra-tier MP5 skin called Fallux and get additional rewards on top. The Rust Fall Strike Pass is packed with content; whether you pay or not, it will keep you busy with challenges and cool gear throughout the season.
Speaking of cool gear, the devs have dropped some wild new weapon skins in the store. The one that jumps out to me is the EVO-tier KAG-6-Matrix skin (available in the Matrix Valor crate starting Sept 12). It’s got a dark red, high-tech cube design with neon blue highlights and crazy effects.
Not to be outdone, the Ultra-tier AUG-Aureate skin (in the Aureate Stash from Sept 5) has a regal vibe: the gun is covered in gilded engravings with dark violet flames coursing along the barrel. Every shot supposedly unleashes a burst of purple fire like a phoenix. Melee lovers get something too: the Ultra-tier Kukri-Nexora knife skin (coming Sept 19 in the Nexora Stash) has dark golden fractal patterns and leaves behind “collapsing light trails” with each swing. It looks like something out of a sci-fi ninja movie. These skins are limited releases, likely via loot crates, so you’ll need some luck (and Gold) if you want to acquire them.
If you’re eyeing these new skins or aiming to speed up your Strike Pass progress, you might want to top up your in-game currency. You can grab Blood Strike Gold directly through the Carry1st Shop to give your account a boost and snag those goodies faster. It’s a secure way to get Gold, and a little extra can go a long way when you’re chasing that Ultra skin or extra loot box.
Racing to Mythic: Climb Fast For Glory
All these updates are leading to one big challenge: the Road to Mythic event. With the Season 13 launch on September 15, everyone’s ranks see a reset, and the race is on to reach the newly introduced Mythic rank. The first player in the world to hit Mythic after the reset will be crowned the Global Champion, and they’ll win 19,999 Gold (time-limited in-game gold currency), an exclusive “Aura Boss” title, and the coveted Golden Butterfly Knife melee skin. That’s a serious haul for being the fastest to Mythic.
Even if you’re not the first globally, there’s still glory to chase on your home server. The first player to reach Mythic on each server (Asia, EU-MENA, Americas) will get 9,999 Gold and the Aura Boss title as the Server Champion. In other words, three players (one per region) will snag a nice reward for being their server’s top dog, even if they didn’t set the world record.
The competition doesn’t end there. Until October 5, the event will also track the Top 100 Mythic players on each server and dish out a ton of rewards to them. If you manage to finish the event at #1 on your server’s Mythic leaderboard, you won’t just have bragging rights; you’ll literally get a brand new Redmi Note 14 smartphone, plus 10,000 Gold and the Aura Boss title.
Players who rank #2 and #3 also get the Aura Boss title and hefty Gold prizes (7,500 and 5,000 Gold, respectively). Even those in the #4–10 range get 3,000 Gold each, and smaller Gold prizes scale down to rank 100. So, basically, if you crack the Top 100, you’re getting rewarded with in-game currency (500 Gold minimum for #51–100).
Needless to say, the race to Mythic is going to be fierce. The rules make it clear that the system will record the exact timestamp when each player reaches Mythic, across all servers. So even if some servers reset a bit later due to time zones, it’s all about who gets there in the least amount of time after their reset; a fair playing field for everyone.
And obviously, no cheating or exploiting allowed: any players caught using hacks will be disqualified on the spot.
Ready up, Strikers
Blood Strike is raising the bar with this update. Season 13 is here and it’s go time. Whether you’re chasing that Mythic rank or just teaming up with friends for some Battle Royale madness, there’s no better time to jump in. Good luck, have fun, and we’ll be seeing you on the battlefield, Strikers!
